Kelly Lowther, LCSW

Therapist for Addictions, Eating Disorders, Trauma, and Mental Health

Therapy is meant to be a place where you can be your real, messy, and authentic self. It can be a space to slow down, and really examine what is happening in our lives that's making it feel overwhelming, chaotic, or out of control.

I work to understand what’s underneath our patterns and behaviors, and begin to shift them in a way that actually lasts. You may have a sense of what’s not working, but still find yourself stuck in the same patterns.

I offer a supportive, collaborative space to work through past experiences, current stressors, and the parts of life that feel overwhelming so you can move toward feeling more steady, connected in your day-to-day life, despite life's waves of stress.

Therapy that goes beyond surface-level coping

My work is rooted in trauma-informed care and focuses on helping you:

  • Understand why patterns like addiction or disordered eating developed

  • Build awareness of emotional and behavioral triggers

  • Learn how to respond differently—not just react

  • Create lasting internal change, not just short-term control

I integrate:

  • Cognitive and behavioral strategies

  • Parts-informed approaches

  • Emotion-focused work

  • Interpersonal Therapy

  • EMDR (trauma processing)
